At Velia Fertility, we believe you should be able to trust that the guidance you receive is independent, transparent and focused on helping you understand your fertility treatment and options.

1. Our Independence

Velia Fertility provides independent embryology education, guidance and support. We do not allow financial relationships, referral arrangements, commissions or other commercial interests to influence the information or guidance we provide.

Our guidance is informed by available scientific evidence, professional embryology experience and the individual information you choose to share with us.

2. Financial Interests and Recommendations

Velia Fertility does not receive commissions or financial incentives for recommending a particular IVF clinic, fertility specialist, healthcare professional, laboratory, treatment, test, product or service.

Where we discuss a clinic, treatment, test, technology, product or service, our aim is to help you understand the available information and considerations relevant to your circumstances, rather than to promote a particular provider.

3. Professional Relationships

Our embryologists may also hold professional, clinical, academic, research, consulting or industry roles outside Velia Fertility.

Having a professional relationship does not necessarily constitute a conflict of interest. However, where a relationship, financial interest or other circumstance could reasonably be perceived as influencing the guidance provided to you, we will disclose the relevant interest and appropriately manage the potential conflict.

4. Managing a Conflict of Interest

If an actual or potential conflict of interest arises, Velia Fertility will take reasonable steps to manage it transparently and in the interests of maintaining the independence of our service.

Where a conflict could affect our ability to provide appropriately independent guidance, we may decline to provide guidance on that particular matter or recommend that you seek information or advice from another suitably qualified professional.

Our role is to help you better understand the embryology and laboratory aspects of fertility treatment so that you can ask informed questions and participate more confidently in decisions with your treating healthcare professionals.
