What exactly does an embryologist consultant do?

As independent embryologist consultants, we help you understand the science behind your fertility treatment. We don’t provide medical advice; instead, expert guidance and education around IVF processes, lab reports, treatment options, and decision-making so you can feel confident, informed, and in control.

How are consultations delivered?

All consultations are held via secure video call (or phone, if preferred). You’ll receive a calendar invite and a link to join the session after booking. No travel, no waiting rooms — just direct access to expert support from the comfort of your home.

Can I send you my treatment or lab results in advance?

Yes! After you book a session, you'll receive an optional intake form where you can upload clinic letters, embryo reports, or specific questions you'd like to cover. Sharing these in advance helps to tailor our session to your needs, but it’s completely optional.

How long are the consultations?

Most sessions are between 30–50 minutes, depending on the service. Session lengths are listed next to each offering on the Services page, and you can always ask for a longer appointment if needed.

Are you affiliated with any fertility clinics?

No. We operate independently, which means advice is unbiased and not influenced by clinic policies or commercial interests. Our goal is to support you, not promote a particular clinic or treatment.

Is this a replacement for advice from my fertility doctor?

No — and it’s not meant to be. We complement your clinical care by helping you understand the embryology and lab side of IVF more clearly, so you can have more productive conversations with your doctor and make well-informed decisions.

Can my partner join the consultation?

Absolutely. Fertility is a team journey, and partners are welcome to join any session.

What if I need to reschedule?

Not a problem, life happens. You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours in advance. Just follow the link in your confirmation email or get in touch directly.

Can I contact you after the consultation if I have more questions?

Absolutely! We can provide a free 10-minute chat, or for more in-depth follow-up, you’re welcome to book a shorter review session.
